Smart Teachers is recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join an ‘Outstanding’ school in Haringey. This full time SEN Teaching Assistant role would be available for an immediate start and will be contracted on a temporary basis with the possibility of a generous permanent placement. This particular role would include working 1:1 with a young boy who displays learning, social and emotional difficulties. As well as behavioural difficulties, the pupil also has medical needs, in particular with digesting food; training would be provided. The pupil is in KS2, however working at a Reception level. All classrooms are very spacious, full of light and overall contribute to the positive and enthusiastic environment. The pupils at the school are motivated and high attaining as well as provided with excellent care, guidance and support. The school is looking to recruit the right person to contribute to their encouraging and bubbly environment.

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:
• Proven experience
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
