We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs school located in Leicester. This school caters for students with a range of Special Educational Needs; ideally you will have previous experience of working with students who have ASD, MLD and SLD. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and friendly environment, on a part time long term basis.

We are looking for someone that will have the ability to work with small groups of students, developing their ability in a range of subjects. You will also be required to support students on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that they fully understand the day’s tasks. Ideally you will be passionate about the development of students, with experience of working with students who have Special Educational Needs.

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 2 or 3 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service
