ABC Teachers are currently looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Shard End. This school caters for students with ASD and EBD who are 11 to 19 years of age. This school has a long history of ensuring that all students receive outstanding support throughout their day. 

We are ideally looking for someone that has previously worked within an SEN environment and is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the education that they deserve. This role will begin as soon as possible and be on an ongoing basis. You will be working with sometimes challenging behaviour so you much be able to remain calm in varying situations. 

The ideal candidate –

· Level 2 TA qualification

· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service   

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
