Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity in an SEN setting?
ABC Teachers are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Walsall. You will be working with students with MLD, Autism and a range of Special Needs, who are both Primary and Secondary ages.
You will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, supporting the class teacher with the daily running of lessons and tasks. This is a friendly school environment which is dedicated to making sure that all students receive the education and support that they deserve.
This role will begin as soon as possible and be on an ongoing basis. We are looking for someone that has had previous referenceable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, and students who find the school environment challenging.
The ideal candidate –
• Experience working with SEND
• Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
• Build rapport with the children
• In date DBS & on the Update Service
Requirements:

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent, referenceable school based experience within an SEN setting (within the last 5 years).
