Mossbourne Parkside Academy are seeking an outstanding SENCO to join the team. The successful applicant will be passionate about education and working with students of all abilities with the talent to drive them to be outstanding. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally have a SEND qualification and will have excellent classroom practice across all key stages.
The role will focus on raising aspirations, expectations and achievement of all students regardless of their ability. The successful candidate will have an approachable and caring nature with the passion for teaching and working with students and will have the ability to drive them to be outstanding. They will also be committed to the safeguarding of the students and have successful and innovative strategies and experience of improving attendance and punctuality, with a focus on pupils at risk of poor attendance and punctuality.
