This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally talented colleague to join our vibrant and ambitious school. Based in the north west of Leeds, Benton Park is a large, successful and oversubscribed school. We are a fully inclusive comprehensive and we are proud to serve all the young people in our locality and beyond. 

You would be joining the school at an incredibly exciting time as we drive to ensure we maximise students’ potential both personally and academically to create lifelong learners for the future.   

The successful candidate will have the potential to become an outstanding SENCo and member of our Extended Leadership Team. You will be highly motivated, creative and resilient; possessing the necessary vision and skills to deliver inspirational leadership whilst also having the focus and drive to ensure successful outcomes are reached for our SEND students.   

We will offer you a comprehensive professional development programme both in school and as a member of the Red Kite Teaching School Alliance. Ensuring appropriate CPD and support is given to enable the successful candidate to move to Senior Leadership.

Benton Park School is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational school located in Rawton, Leeds. The school has a sixth form and admits students aged 11-18.

Benton Park School was founded in 1838 by Joseph Riley. It was built on the grounds of the old Benton Park house. It was demolished in 1957 but rebuilt by Sir John Burnet, Tait and Partners in the late 1950s.
