We are looking for a motivated and inspiring SENCO who will co-ordinate and support staff to ensure that there are appropriate learning opportunities for students with additional needs and to build upon the high standards already achieved and continue the growth and development of the department. The ideal candidate will lead and advise curriculum leaders and their teams in the development of appropriate strategies, as well as taking responsibility for the management of the SEND Team. An important aspect of the role will be to provide staff with training and support with teaching and learning approaches for students with SEND to be used in mainstream curriculum lessons. The person appointed will work in partnership with students, parents and staff to secure further development of our SEND provision to ensure we maintain our excellent reputation in this key area of school life.
