SENCo
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience or have an exceptional understanding of teaching in either primary or secondary phase.
- Have SEN experience and/or National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination.
- Have an excellent understanding of the SEN code of practice.
- Have an excellent understanding of pupil progress and a willingness to embrace change.
- Be open to new approaches to learning and teaching.
- Be an excellent team player.

About The Gatwick School
Opened in 2014, and judged 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas. The Gatwick School is a state-funded all-through school based in Crawley, West Sussex. Teaching children aged 4-16, the school is non-denominational and mixed gender. Located on Gatwick Road, it is less than a mile from the international airport of the same name.
The school can be accessed on public transport by the Metrobus network, with the Gatwick Road North bus stop situated outside the school. The Gatwick School has a breakfast club and runs OASIS clubs at the end of the day for after-school intellectual stimulation.
