Job Title: SEND Teacher (Science would be an advantage)
Salary: £23,795 to £32,368 (dependent on experience, qualifications and training)
Start date: September 2020, or as soon as possible
Hexagon Care Services is a forward thinking and privately owned National Provider of Children’s Services. Within the services they offer, they run 8 small independent schools which educate boys and girls between 11 and 18 which cater for pupils with a range of complex needs. All schools are rated either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.
Spen Brook School is an independent special school situated in Blackpool and is registered with the DfE for up to 24 students aged 11 – 16, many of whom have complex needs.
At KS3 the school offers a broad and balanced education in line with the national curriculum. At KS4 the school offers Functional Skills level 1 and 2 in English, Maths and ICT and accreditation in PSHE.
There is the option to study GCSEs for the more academically able pupils. The school was last inspected in July 2019 and was judged outstanding in all areas.

As SEND Teacher, you will:
• Have QTS status – qualified to teach KS3/4 Science and/or Maths
• The ability to teach ICT would be advantageous.
• Hold a full clean driving license
