Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifications. The minimum experience, training and qualifications required to be considered for this position are holding Qualified Teacher Status and having a minimum of 1 term of experience working within a special school in a similar role.

Summary:

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a Special School in North Leeds that caters for pupils with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Global Development Delay. They require a full time Teacher from September to work with their pupils in a class that caters for pupils with Autism, Learning Disabilities and some mild SEMH issues.

The School: 

The school is based in North Leeds and caters for pupils with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Global Development Delay aged between 3-19 years old.

Requirements To be considered for the SEND Teacher – KS1 position, you will:

• Hold QTS

• Have a minimum of 1 term of experience working in a special school in a similar role.

• Be Team Teach Trained or be willing to attend our 2 day Team Teach Positive Behaviour Management Course over the summer holidays.

• Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
