Hexagon Care Services is a forward thinking and privately owned National Provider of Children’s Services. All schools are rated either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.
The Birches School is currently situated in Poulton le Fylde and has been registered with the DfE since November 2005. It is a small independent school that caters for up to 7 boys aged 11 – 16, many of whom have complex needs. At KS3 the school offers a broad and balanced education in line with the national curriculum. AT KS4 the school offers Functional Skills level 1 and 2 in English, Maths and ICT and accreditation in PSHE. There is the option to study GCSEs for the more academically able pupils. All physical education takes place offsite. Attendance at the school is excellent with most boys achieving well over 95%. There are two qualified teachers and a qualified HLTA.
