Church of England school situated in the heart of the inner city Birmingham. We serve a diverse community
and believe that by ‘Growing up Together in Newtown’ we can achieve anything.
This post is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing experience of supporting children with
significant or complex special educational needs. Either within a specialist provision or mainstream setting
where pupils require an individualised curriculum. Ensuring they are engaged within their learning
environment and therefore make progress. Someone who has the passion and drive to ensure that all
students achieve their true potential.
Are you enthusiastic, conscientious and creative?
Do you have the experience required to make a difference to our SEND provision and make a
positive contribution to our pastoral team, enhancing the learning of our students?
Can you form positive relationships to help our children achieve their best, academically and
personally?
Can you deliver high quality small group and 1:1 interventions to inspire, engage and challenge our
children?
Do you have a passion for inspiring and making a difference to the lives of children who live in the
inner city?
At St George’s we are passionate about raising standards in the core subjects alongside developing and
promoting lifelong employment skills through a creative, dynamic and engaging curriculum.
We are able to offer opportunities for staff training and development, supportive parents and Governing
Body. Most importantly, we have positive, happy and motivated students who enjoy learning. If you think
you have the vision and drive to help take our Academy forward then we would like to hear from you.
