Job overview

We are currently looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students within a special day school in Boston as and when required. The SEND Teaching Assistant will join a vibrant and energetic team of staff that works in partnership with the community to provide a safe educational environment for those affected by learning difficulties and disabilities.The schools are looking for a qualified SEND Teaching Assistant who can have a positive influence and remain calm in what can sometimes be a challenging environment.

As the successful SEND Teaching Assistant you must be Level 3 qualified, caring, highly motivated and committed and have the ability to build a rapport with others. The SEND Teaching Assistant must have good knowledge of working with SEND pupils and have excellent communication skills to liaise with other staff members.
