Behaviour support worker
From £9.20 - £10.50 per hour
Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Behaviour support worker to work within a primary school in Sheffield. This role is long term with a possibility of a permanent vacancy starting after October half term.
To work 1-1 and with small groups providing intervention support and class based support to the teacher.
The school / setting
This is a large school who are looking for a committed and successful support worker to join their motivated team. This can be a challenging role so someone with a similar background or experience with SEND is preferential
To be considered for the position of Behaviour support worker you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or heal;th and social care.
• Have experience supporting children with SEND, working 1:1 giving support or in small classroom groups.
• Have excellent communication skills, be fun and encouraging!
• Be creative and be able to think ‘out of the box’
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team, have a passion to help, be caring, considerate and have a confident nature.
