SENDCo

Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) is seeking to appoint a SENDCo from 1st September 2020. 

This is a unique opportunity to join a new school and be part of creating a centre of excellence for inclusion and achievement of SEND learners. Whilst our plan is to recruit a full time SENDCo with a teaching timetable, we would welcome creative conversations about the implementation of our SENDCo strategy and would be willing to support the right candidate in pursuing qualified SENCo status. 

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and ambitious educator, with proven leadership skills and vision to take on a vital strategic role.  

You will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the SEND department as it develops and be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring SEND provision at Trinity Academy. There may be further opportunities to develop the role across the Cathedral Schools Trust, in which Trinity Academy is one of three secondary schools. The level of responsibility and salary will be reviewed as the role develops. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to plan strategically, manage a team of learning support assistants, analyse data and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for on-going reflection and self-improvement.
