Contract dates 4th January 2021 – July 2021

Smart Teachers is seeking to assist a popular and thriving school within the Ealing community for January 2021 with a SENDCO on a part-time, three day per week basis (additional days possibly negotiable). The successful candidate will be solely responsible for the additional provision on site which caters for ASD/MLD learners. Candidates not holding a SENDCO qualification are able to be considered for this position.

The role

• SENDCO

• To oversee the school’s additionally resourced provision

• Co-ordinate a team of support staff to successfully provide a suitable and appropriate learning experience for all within the provision

• To liaise with external agencies , as well as being an active member of the senior leadership team

• Long term booking from January 2021 -  July 2021 

• £175 + per day

Requirements

To be considered for the SENDCO position, you will:

• Hold the national SENDCO award, or hold full QTS and have aspirations to become a school SENDCO

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Have previous experience of teaching children with Special Educational needs

• Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Have recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
