At Oxfordshire Hospital School  our priority is to support every student and their family by providing excellent, personalised education during their time with us, and subsequently helping to ensure their successful return to their mainstream or home school when they are well enough.

We are looking for an inspirational professional with the skills and personality to take this outstanding school further on its journey.

As well as fulfilling our SENDCo role you will take on much of the project work with our Medical Needs Inreach Project . This project is a collaboration between Oxfordshire Hospital Schools and Children’s Psychological Medicine (CPM) – Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Together we are creating a programme of training and a network of partnerships that will equip every Oxfordshire school with valuable knowledge and practical support to make dynamic improvements in the way pupils with medical needs are taught.  

Some of your time will also be spent teaching across our various inpatient settings and in our Outreach programme. If you have a specialism in teaching across Key stages 3,4&5 in any subject and experience of working with vulnerable learners you are welcome to apply.
