We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Chemistry Technician to work as a member of a team to provide a service with will ensure safe, effective and efficient use of resources to support the science curriculum and through the provision of this learning support service to promote equality of opportunity for staff and students. Although the post holder generally specialises in one science, there is a requirement to assist in other subject areas as reasonably required. This position is available from September 2018.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in Chemistry, excellent technical skills and good working knowledge of current for health and safety regulations. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues to meet deadlines is essential.
