Epsom College, an independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs, is looking to appoint a Senior Physics Technician responsible for the preparation of class practicals and general servicing of laboratories.

The applicant would ideally have a science or technical background and electrical knowledge would be desirable. He/she must be organised and methodical in their approach, cheerful, well presented and able to manage the technicians’ department. Competent IT skills and administration skills are required.

The role would suit an individual who enjoys constructing apparatus and experience working within a professional laboratory/classroom environment would be advantageous. The role will involve lifting and manual handling large apparatus. Practical knowledge of setting up and maintaining equipment is essential.

This post is full time Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings, term time only.
