Salary: NJC Grade D points 9-17 £20,344 - £23,836 actual (£17,996 - £21,085) pro rata

Due to the retirement of two long standing members of the school administrative team an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our school. The Governors are therefore seeking to appoint a committed, dynamic and friendly senior administrator to aid in the day to day running of the school office. You will work closely with the  school business director to provide outstanding, professional service to parents and other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills, both face to face and on the telephone, are essential. The ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of the school office are paramount together with a good sense of humour.

Our new senior administrator must be able to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to support the development of whole school vision, ethos, aims, policies and practices. 
  • Excellent Organisational and planning skills and being able to work to deadlines.
  • The ability to provide outstanding stakeholder relations and maintain positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and visitors. 
  • High standards of written and spoken English -Grade C+ GCSE or able to demonstrate a similar level of competency.
  • Experience / knowledge of SIMS / FMS
  • Past experience within a school / educational setting

Our new senior administrator will have responsibility for:

  • Data entry including ensuring our management information systems (SIMS and FMS) are up do date and accurate.
  • Processing and submitting orders and invoices.
  • Collecting, processing and reconciling money that comes in to school for trips etc.
  • Communication with parents and other stakeholders.
  • General administration tasks as required.
  • Liaising closely with the business director and administration assistant to provide continuity of service and that all tasks are covered.
