Senior Science Technician
Salary Points 23 - 26, £23,577 - £25,746 per annum
(£19,648 - £21,455 per annum pro rata)
36 hours a week term time only (40 weeks) 8:00am – 3:45pm
Required as soon as possible, a Senior Science Technician to lead the team which prepares materials and equipment for lessons and support teaching staff. Previous experience in a school is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills, as well as a good level of competence in laboratory work including the safe use and storage of equipment and chemicals.
The science department is a leading area of the curriculum in this high-achieving, over-subscribed 11-18 comprehensive school and converter academy.
