The curriculum in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Professional (STEP) encompasses subjects for both FE and HE. The focus of this role is to teach both FE and HE vocational courses related to education, learning and development. As a personal tutor to a number of groups, you will provide a high quality student experience and ensure that your students meet and exceed their target grades.

So, if you hold a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have experience of delivering teacher education courses and/or STALIS programmes, then we want to hear from you!

With excellent teaching skills and an awareness of academic quality standards, you will be hardworking and flexible and have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress. You will have high personal standards and expectations, be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving. You will work effectively as an individual and as a team member to achieve targets and be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

Experience of delivering on apprenticeship programmes would be a distinct advantage, however this is not essential.

The post will be based in Kingston College.
