If you have a passion for your subject and want to share it with others, then join our successful and well established College as an evening & weekend Sign Language tutor
We are interested in hearing from tutors who can inspire our adult learners in an informative and engaging way. Our evening and weekend workshops are aimed principally at adult learners acquiring or developing the skills to communicate using Sign Language
The successful applicants will join a team of sessional tutors who each contribute to the planning of the workshops and the sharing of resources/ideas. All staff are committed to the success of learners and are receptive to new ideas and approaches. In return, learners are very appreciative of the high level of support they receive.
We are seeking to expand the range of educational and recreational services and facilities we provide for the wider community and so there may be opportunities for additional work as this new Community Hub project expands.
Experience of tutoring is desirable but not essential, provided you have strong expertise in your subject area and a commitment to providing excellent and interesting workshops.
The hours and length of the contract will be dependent on the final agreed programme of workshops. The timing of evening and weekend workshops are negotiable.
