Salary: C3 (SCP 26-28) £23,866 - £25,463 

Hours: 37 hours per week – all year round (Flexibility required at key times and during absence of colleagues.) Subject to a 6-month probationary period.

Working as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, Bruntcliffe Academy is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly effective Site Manager to start as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will manage the academy site, the provision of maintenance and security services on school premises thereby ensuring a safe working environment. Manage a team of in-house site and cleaning support staff including the allocation and monitoring of work and performance appraisal as well as overseeing contractors on site. 

Working hours may include split shifts and supporting events taking place outside of school hours which are held in the academy. 

It is essential that applicants hold a current, clean D1 driving licence and preferably a valid MiDAS certificate (or be willing to train).

Bruntcliffe Academy is an increasingly popular 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1000 students on roll. The school is situated in Morley which is on the outskirts of the thriving city of Leeds, with a very good motorway access to all areas of the north of England and beyond.

The school joined the highly successful GORSE Academies Trust which has a national reputation for its excellence in 2015.
