We are seeking applications from dedicated and hardworking professionals with a desire to work in a successful, thriving and supportive 11-18 Academy. This role will manage the day to day running of the Sixth Form Centre Office, providing an effective administrative function ensuring efficient operation using initiatives to continually improve the services provided by the Sixth Form Office Team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine desire to help contribute positively to the life of our young people.
We are a split-site, rural, mixed 11-18 non-selective converter academy with approximately 1300 students, including over 250 students in our Sixth Form. We are situated centrally in Crowborough, on the outskirts of the Ashdown Forest, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are close to Tunbridge Wells and the South Coast.

In 2017 we achieved our best ever A-Level and GCSE results which now place Beacon Academy as the top performing school in Sussex and in the top 3% of schools nationally. Furthermore, in June 2017 we were one of only sixty-five schools nationwide to be awarded National Teaching School and National Support School designations, taking a leading role in recruiting and training new entrants to the profession. Our Headteacher, Ms Robinson is also a designated National Leader of Education and a Consultant Headteacher for East Sussex County Council.
The role is for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This role is paid on Single Status Grade 7-8, currently £20,654 - £24,319 per annum.
