Skills Development Mentors
The Trust is seeking creative and skilled individuals to support the implementation and on-going development of its exciting new #Junx10n Service, in the following roles:-
• Skills Development Mentor – Full Time
• Skills Development Mentor - Supply
The Skills Development Mentor’s are responsible for providing support and mentoring to young people who are neuro diverse, to access #JunX1On Services. To support young people to identify individual goals and ambitions to develop their skills and strengths through sourcing and providing access to a variety of opportunities.
This is a hand’s on role and requires professional individuals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people with neurodiversity’s as well as working in partnership with parents and external partner agencies. Experience or knowledge of Person Centred Planning sessions, theory and implementation of approaches would be desirable.
Requirements:
Essential:
• SVQ Level 3 in community Education, Youth Work, Childcare & Education or equivalent experience or a wiliness to work towards.
• PVG Certificate
Desirable:
• Driving Licence
