Role Purpose

We are looking for enthusiastic ESOL tutors to join our innovative and dynamic team and to teach across a range of levels in our well-equipped, modern stores with purpose built classrooms. Graded Good by Ofsted (November 2016), come and join our supportive learning environment where you will be given space to develop and progress in your ESOL career.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide high quality teaching, learning and support for learners in the Post-19 education sector for Tower Hamlets Council. You will be responsible for delivering excellent teaching and learning on a range of accredited (ESB, Ascentis) and RARPA assessed ESOL programmes across the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will assist the Curriculum Managers to develop courses, schemes of work and assessment strategies which meet the wide-ranging needs of learners across the borough.
Requirements
Successful applicants will hold a PGCE and level 5 subject specialism in ESOL or an equivalent level qualification. Knowledge and experience of teaching mixed ability ESOL groups as well as knowledge and understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning is essential. This post requires an enhanced DBS and the ability to work one or two evenings a week as required.

These vacancies are fixed term for 12 months in the first instance; 35 hours per week (term time only for 41 weeks)
