The school is now entering a period of consolidation, as it seeks to further deepen and broaden the culture of continual improvement that has been in evidence since the school’s founding.
Our school is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Coordinator of Special Educational Needs to act as the SENCO and to coordinate Student Support in the Primary and Secondary School Departments. The successful appointee will lead a team of seven SEN Teachers, and work in close collaboration with our team of school counsellors and EAL Teachers.
Enthusiasm, energy, empathy, and resilience are essential, together with a strong commitment to student welfare and to the wider holistic intent of our school vision are required.
A recent consultation with staff highlighted the levels of collegiality and professional support amongst staff as a particular strength of the school, as its commitment to on-going professional development of all team members. Our host country, Malaysia is an amazing place to live and work in. Many of our staff are now into their fourth year of working at our school.
The appointment commences from in August 2020. The remuneration package is competitive and includes housing, medical insurance, annual flights, education for dependent children and other benefits.
