Smart Teachers is recruiting for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs to join an “Outstanding” SEN school based in Merton.  Due to expansion, the school is recruiting for a number of Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TA’s. The school caters for children aged 4-18, with a range of needs from ASD, SLD, PMLD to MLD. These are full time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TA roles from January 2019 till July 2019, and have the potential to become permanent. The school is looking for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs who are confident working with a range of needs. Prior experience working with SEN is desirable, but not essential.  

About the Role

· Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs 

· Both class based SEN and bank staff roles available 

· Positions available in both the primary and secondary sites 

· Fixed term roles from January to July 2019 initially, with potential to extend

· Daily rate between £70-£85

In order to be considered for this role, the Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs will need to meet the following criteria:

· Previous experience as a TA (minimum of 6 weeks full time) 

· Experience working with children with SEN is desirable, but not essential

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
