**Relevant experience is essential for this role through Vision for Education working with children, young people or adults. Please note that due to the high number of applicants we will only respond to the ones with relevant experience in the past few years. **
A Special Needs Support Assistant role within a warm, welcoming, positive school with high expectations of their young people.
The Special Needs Support Assistant role involves assisting students with learning difficulties, disabilities and additional needs with aspects of learning and the school day. Ensuring access to the curriculum, movement around the school, assistance with some personal care needs.
You would work with other support assistants and teaching assistants in a team led by the teacher for this Special Needs Support Assistant role.
Previous experience working within education as a nursery nurse, primary teaching assistant, Sen TA, within support, care, and qualifications in Early Years Education, Supporting Teaching & Learning or in Health & Social Care will be advantageous for this Special Needs Support Assistant role.
This is an on going supply Special Needs Support Assistant role, 5 days a week to start immediately (September 2019).
