Specific Purpose Learning Support Assistant

One-to-one basis

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm; 28.75 hours per week

Salary: Scale 2

Interview Date: 27th September 2019 

We have a vacancy for a Specific Purpose Learning Support Assistant to work one to one with a child with complex learning difficulties (including autism) in Year 1 from September 2019.

This is a temporary contract valid for the time that the child attends our school. 

The successful candidate should:

• Have experience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment;
• Have good numeracy and literacy skills;
• Be able to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities;
• Be able to relate well to children and adults.
