We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join us in September 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cluster of 5 schools across East London driven to ensuring our pupils achieve highly and can be the best they can be. Our groups of schools are diverse and are set within three local authorities whilst being a part of the national MAT, United Learning. This is a term-time only position, so would suit somebody looking to have that flexibility, rather than working 52 weeks of the year.

What you offer us:

o Provide speech and language therapy at a specialist level to children with complex communicaiton needs

o Ensuring seamless collaboration with education staff and other professionals to meet the needs of pupils 

o Supporting and developing positive relationships with pupils and their families

o Extensive experience in identifying pupils with SLCN, using appropriate assessments and determine provision

o Apply sound research into whole school practice

o Contribute to EHCP applications through careful provision mapping, and reporting and monitoring of provision


Job requirements:

o Working within Band 7 with experience working at a highly specialist level with relevant and recent training in specialist areas

o Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

o RCSLT membership and or ASLTIP membership
