Valence School is a KCC Foundation Special School with residential facilities for students with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning and communication difficulties from age 4 to 19. We are part of the Kent Special Education Needs Trust.
In this role you will plan and deliver appropriate adapted and modified PE lessons to young disabled students within the school. You will have experience of delivery of sport sessions and want to gain additional experience in PE and school or club disability sport.
We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and has a genuine passion for sports coaching and PE. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to inspire our students to be actively interested in sport and swimming.
Experience of working with SEND students is desirable, however what is more important is an aspiration to support disabled students to achieve. Minimum qualifications for this role are A' Levels and ideally a NGB (National Governing Body) Level 1 Sports qualification.
