Sports Teacher (Physical Education and Games) 

Full-time required for September 2021  

Beechwood is currently recruiting for an inspirational Sports Teacher who will, in line with its Mission, Nurture, Engage and Inspire our pupils across a wide range of coeducational sports.    

The successful candidate will teach Physical Education (including EYFS) and Games to pupils in Nursery through to Year 8. Candidates will be competent in teaching football, netball, rugby, hockey and cricket as well as swimming, athletics, the PE curriculum and complementary sports. 

The role includes the co-ordination of various aspects of the sports curriculum, contributing to sporting events and fixtures, some of which take place in the evenings or at weekends and participating in sports tours as required.

 This is an excellent opportunity to teach at one of the country’s leading independent preparatory schools.  The ability and desire to contribute to the wider life of the School is essential.
