Job overview
The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the above post based at Merrill Academy in Derby. The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable, and dedicated to providing a high level of support in all areas of student engagement and learning support. They will have strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative. They will be able to demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behavior, which are expected of students and establish a safe and supportive environment.
In addition, the applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of working in a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy secondary school environment. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science are essential. Relevant professional qualifications and/or a First Aid qualification are desirable.
