We are seeking to appoint a Student Information Desk (SID) Receptionist with the drive to contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support within the school which promotes equality within and values the diversity of the school community. 

We are an 11-16 academy, based in the large, friendly, Lancashire town of Wigan, with a curriculum designed to stretch and enrich our students’ experience. Our relentless focus on learning ensures everyone has the right to learn.

We are seeking to appoint a Student Information Desk (SID) Receptionist with the drive to contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support within the school which promotes equality within and values the diversity of the school community. You will be required to provide an effective and student-friendly first point of contact for students on all matters relating to Academy life.

We are looking for an individual who has high aspirations for students, who is committed, and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’.

Interested applicants should be First Aid trained (or willing to be First Aid trained) and prepared to undertake relevant training in order to support student wellbeing and safety within the Academy.
