Student Records Officer - Part Time Temporary

(19 hrs per week Mon, Wed, Fri) until 18 December 2020

Role Description:

To carry out all necessary administrative duties to maintain student records, which will include but is not limited to student enrolments, student attendance, all necessary student reporting as well as general customer service to students and visitors.

Responsibilities:

 Keep an up to date record of all enrolment data in the school which will include but is not limited to the

following:

o Preparation of enrolment packs for new students which will include the preparation of

correspondence to applicants

o Preparation of enrolment packs for senior students

o Entering all new students into the data base which will include preparation of orientation packs

o Removing all exiting students

o Prepare yearly family validation forms to obtain all update information on students and their

families

 Preparation of census information

 Create and update sports and group rolls

 Preparation of commendation and awards per semester as well as preparation of correspondence to

parents of award recipients

 Preparation of student academic reports

 Customer service to students and visitors, when necessary

 Filing

Selection Criteria:

 Experience is not essential but is desirable in using the following school database systems:

o SAS; SchoolWorx; Accelerus; First Class

 Certificate III or higher in Administrative Services

 General office administration experience

 Excellent attention to detail

 Meet all timelines when necessary

 Willingness to work in a team environment and assist all team members in the Administration Office

 Experience in Microsoft Office and Excel especially with Mail Merge and Google suite apps

 First Aid certificate, desirable but not essential
