The salary for these posts is within the NJC pay spine range 15 – 18 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £16,500 – 17,350 per annum (reduced to £12,256 - £12,888 for full time post and £4,903 - £5,155 for part time post, to reflect the reduced working nature of these roles.), pay award pending.

As a student support assistant you will be involved in the care and support of a range of students. Your responsibilities will include supporting in lessons, with movement around College, emotional support and generally helping the students with all of the challenges they will face on a daily basis.
You will need to be a caring and patient person who is confident in both written and verbal communication.
