Study Support Assistant 

To provide general support and enable access to learning opportunities for specified learners in a College based learning environment and/or Outreach Centers. 

Salary: Scale 2, Points 14-16, £17,364 - £18,179 per annum, pro rata.  

(Equivalent to £5,130 - £5,371 per annum) 

Hours of Work: Band C.  13 – 18 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends).  

Contract: Permanent, part time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum.  

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College to provide support in Neath, Afan, Llandarcy and Swansea Colleges).      

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to level 2 (with a working knowledge of MS Office).  A level 2 qualification in Learning Support for Adults and Young People would be advantageous.
