Applications are sought for a full-time subject leader of Biology to join us from September 2019. Sciences are popular at Oswestry School with good numbers for A-level each year. STEM-related courses at university are popular choices and we are also seeing increasing numbers looking at higher level apprenticeships in industry. There is a popular Science Society programme of lunchtime clubs and after school talks and events for those interested in extending their knowledge beyond the curriculum. The ability to teach A-level biology and to ensure that biology is represented as part of the co-curriculum is important.
