We are seeking to recruit a talented Subject Leader Chemistry to join our Science department, with the ability to teach students of all abilities across key stages 3 to 5.  You will have the responsibility of leading the chemistry department.  The key stage responsibility will involve working with the Director of Science focussing on teaching and learning across the entire science department.

We are looking for applicants with evidence of leadership and a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.  This is a key role in that Subject Leaders are required to make a whole school contribution to curriculum development.

You will have a love of science and the desire and ability to convey this to students.   You will be dynamic and energetic, and committed to the aims and ethos of a church school.  There is scope to contribute to other subject areas, the pastoral work of the school, and a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work collaboratively as part of the Science leadership team, in a school that fosters academic success within a stimulating and happy environment.

We are committed to safeguarding the young people in our care and we expect all our staff to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
