Subject Leader for Sociology

We are seeking to recruit a well qualified graduate to lead on the delivery of sociology as part of our existing well motivated and successful humanities and social sciences team. 

Sociology uptake at Key Stage 4 and 5 is very good and results are very strong

The successful candidate will:

· Be an excellent teacher, across all Key Stages, working to ensure that entitlement is of the   highest quality; enthusing and engaging students and ensuring excellent progress is made by all groups of students. 

· Have a passion for the teaching of Sociology and an ability to lead and inspire colleagues and students, working to secure outstanding progress and outcomes across all key stages.

· Contribute to the delivery of humanities at Key Stage 3

· Have the desire to lead the development of a highly motivated staff team.

We actively encourage CPD throughout the school with a comprehensive programme for teachers at all stages of their careers.
