The Wellington Academy is a highly inclusive, innovative school, which opened in 2009 to serve the Tidworth area of Wiltshire and is situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, within close proximity of the A303 and A34. Recently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the Wellington Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years.

We are seeking to recruit a part time Subject Leader for Social Sciences with the potential to teach a range of Social Sciences, including Sociology, Child Development and Health and Social Care. In this role you will in collaboration with the Director of 6th Form, lead on the development and embedding of the Wellington Academy learning culture and pedagogy, in Social Sciences, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all learners. You will take the Lead on the Social Sciences curriculum provision and design, monitor and account for the progress of all learners across your department.
