Supply Teachers Needed

ABC teachers are currently recruiting for September! We are seeking Teachers, NQTs and Teaching Assistants to register with us for some supply work or to fill long term supply positions (maternity leave, sabbatical etc.) which begin in September. 

Supply work would be great for anyone who wants to have the choice of which days they work each week, or if you have a part time job and want to supplement those days. It also gives a good variation in work, in that you can go to a few different schools, ideal if you are new to the area or are looking for some experience in particular types of schools. This allows you to control the amount you earn each week, by working as much or little as you like. It can also mean that you will only go to schools that you like as you can turn down or request work that you like.

The long term supply positions are already coming in to us for September 2018, this means that we are looking to register candidates as soon as possible so that they can clear our compliance process ASAP. A range of positions are already in, including 0.2 and 0.4 key stage 1 teaching positions as well as 4 days per week Teaching Assistant roles within Derbyshire. These roles provide a steady flow of work each week and can provide those looking for some longer term or regular work a steady income for the duration of the placement. The long term positions can also be complimented by some day to day supply work for those who are looking for some extra work on their days off.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
