  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Applications are welcomed for the role of Support Teacher: Inclusive Education (ST:IE) at St Oliver Plunkett School, Cannon Hill.   Applicants should have teaching experience of at least 5 years and hold post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, for example, Inclusive Education or Special Education as recognised by Brisbane Catholic Education. The successful candidate will: demonstrate an understanding of, commitment to, and support for the values and ethos of the Catholic school and the mission of the Catholic Church, use data to shape pedagogical approaches within the Australian Curriculum to cater for the diverse learning needs of all students, promote inclusive education practices, use collaborative processes, share skills and knowledge through professional development, consultation and advice and maintain professional expertise in a dynamic and evolving context including understanding of key policies, procedures and legislation.

St Oliver Plunkett Primary School is situated on Brisbane's southside with an approximate enrolment of 530. As part of the Cannon Hill parish the school provides a contemporary, faith-based education for all students, where in partnership with all families we learn about our world, ourselves and our Creator God.
