St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking to appoint a permanent experienced, energetic, contemporary, and innovative practitioner to teach TAS. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Involvement in the cocurricular life of the College is an essential condition of employment. The ability to teach Stage 6 D&T is essential.
The successful applicant will:
• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of our Catholic
School
• Be supportive of the Edmund Rice ethos of the College
• Be characterised by a high standard of competency, professionalism, organisational
proficiency and enthusiasm
• Have an ability to relate to boys and a practical knowledge of boys’ education issues
and initiatives
• Participate in the Pastoral Program for the well-being of all students at the College
• Teach a range of classes as appropriate for the position
• Be an innovative and engaging classroom practitioner
• Effectively integrate technology in teaching and learning
• Differentiate the curriculum to suit the student needs
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning
