The Phoenix School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to a successful enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references.

2 days Fixed Term 1 Year (to December 2018) with the possibility of extending to 5 days.

Phoenix School is an all age 2-19 Special School for pupils with significant complex needs including a combination of physical, sensory and medical difficulties. Phoenix School has been judged as Outstanding for 3 consecutive HMI inspections, and is now a Training School.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher for our Upper School.

We are a dynamic forward-thinking school committed to high quality CPD/Induction that continuously seeks to improve.

We are looking for energetic, fun, kind, reflective and professional practitioner to join us on our next exciting phase of development. Special School experience would be an advantage, however, if you are an NQT who sees their career in Special Education we can offer you good support. For the right candidate with relevant SLD experience we would consider an unqualified Teacher. As long as you are motivated, enthusiastic and ready for a challenge Phoenix could be the place for you!
