Are you an energetic KS4 General Life Skills Teacher (SEND) with extensive experience of working with a range of young people with complex needs in an education setting, and a passion for inclusion, enabling all children to overcome barriers to learning?

Tes are supporting this school who are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and inspirational KS4 General Life Skills Teacher (SEND) to plan and deliver an outstanding and effective bespoke life skills lessons and preparation for adulthood to enable a high-quality learning experience for all 14-19 pupils. 

As a KS4 General Life Skills Teacher (SEND) you will have the enthusiasm to strengthen work based, community and social links, and to promote opportunities and experiences for your young people.

You will develop and support the opportunities for pupils to access work experience and ‘real world’ learning opportunities to practice learnt skills.

You should be self-motivated with a creative approach to curriculum delivery and have the skills to continuously improve the learning experience for the pupils.

You should have experience of working with young people with complex needs and understand what approaches work well and how building positive relationships are key.

The position of KS4 General Life Skills Teacher (SEND) has been created to support the growth of the school and the needs of the pupils, it is a great opportunity to be part of a team proving the very best possible educational opportunities for the pupils within a nurturing and supportive setting.
