The school has an experienced and dedicated staff, who are active in promoting academic excellence, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
Kurmond prides itself on the success of academic, cultural, creative and sporting pursuits and embedding practices which have high impact on student progress and achievement. The school has a positive school culture which ensures the emotional wellbeing of the students and staff. Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (Primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (Primary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with a capacity to work collaboratively to build relationships with all members of the school community.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective intervention programs including the collection and analysis of data.
