Position Information 

Doonside Technology High School is a comprehensive high school with a focus on the use of innovative learning technologies and curriculum patterns to best engage our students. We have a diverse student population with an enrolment of 674 students, including 18% Aboriginal. Our support unit caters for the needs of 74 students with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities. Our staff are highly professional and are dedicated to working diligently to improve the learning opportunities and life options of our students. We promote academic and vocational excellence, strong community links to provide a caring, secure and cooperative environment in which students develop responsibility and resilience.

  
Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach Mathematics Years 7-12 with a willingness to teach Extensions 1 & 2. Demonstrated capacity to integrate information communication technology and innovative classroom practice to enhance and inspire student learning. An understanding of the implications of teaching a diverse range of students including low socio-economic students and Aboriginal students.

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
